Each spring, GW Women in Business hosts a capstone event, the Spring Conference, a professional gathering organized by students, for the D.C. community. The Spring Conference began in 2010 to provide our community with the opportunity to learn more about different careers and industries. Over the years, GWWIB has attracted industry leaders and experts from around the country to speak at the conference. The daylong conference begins with a distinguished keynote speaker and fireside chat, and then leads into a series of workshops and industry focused panels.
This year we will host our 11th Annual Spring Conference on April 4th, 2020 in Funger and Duques Halls on GWU’s Campus in Washington, DC. The theme of this year's Spring Conference is, “Perception.” Through this theme we want to inspire our attendees to cultivate their personal brands and perceive themselves as the author of their own unique narrative. Our speakers are asked to authentically tell their stories of ambition and unapologetically share their successes and failures as equally important parts of their journey.
